Hi all! Just thought I would share about our day yesterday...there were a couple of memorable moments. The first (we don't have a picture for this one) was that I got in trouble with Andrew's teacher because Andrew announced to his preschool class that Santa Claus wasn't real (haha). At first I was frustrated because I had told him not to spoil the "game" for other kids but then when I talked to him I realized I was really proud of him because he was just trying to tell the kids the truth, not be a bun. He told them... "Santa Claus isn't real, Christmas is Jesus' birthday!" So anyway, I got in trouble but at least my son knows the true meaning of Christmas. Now he knows he can go to class and pretend about Santa Claus with the other kids but he is free to talk to them about Jesus' birthday too (even though the teacher didn't really like that). :)

Second memorable moment of yesterday was this one you see a picture of...Tyler's first peas! At first he got the worst expression on his face when he tasted them but then he gulped down the whole jar...except for what you see spread all over his body!

Oh and thirdly, Jeremy got into preschool! He will be starting in January in the same class Andrew was in last year...he is very excited!

So that was our day...thought I would share!

Congratulations on all three events! Tyler looks like he really likes the idea of more solid food - yummy! He is soooooo cute. I'm glad Jer gets to go to school. He had so much fun last year.

Way to go, Andrew! Way to go Dad and Mom. Not to ruin fun, but to know what is fun and what is truth. He knows Mom and Dad tell him the truth.

You might let him know about the guy dubbed St. Nicholas who did good things for people because of his love for Jesus. His history is very colorful, but Wikipedia tells about how (among other things!) he gave anonymously to help some people out. When the man came to thank him, so the legend goes, he replied "it is not me he should thank, but God alone". Others were inspired and began to give, unfortunately in the name of St. Nick, rather than as he seems to have done, in the name of God. Anyway, help us, Lord, to give in a way that celebrates You! And thanks for teaching Andrew at such a young age. : )

I'm off to trade the car in for ... We've become a mini-van family once again. With four adults and two dogs it's just the more practical way to go. So... because of the ease of the stow-and-go and the life-tme power train warranty, we're going with the Chrysler Town and Country. It's practical!!!! We'll send you a pic - or not. I think we'll get too much flack from you all!!

Love you MUCHO!!!!!!!!!
