Man healed... well... replaced anyway

hey all.. just want you to know that i just got a way sweet LG VX8700 which rocks my world ... and yours too! anyway... i am officailly back in communication and better than ever. I now have a high resolution screen to view your beautiful pic messages and can hear you clear as day on my wonderful speakerphone. give me a shout to try it out... you may be switching soon!

ps... these pics don't even do it justice!!! it is so me.

MAN DOWN... SERIOUSLY.

I woke up this morning to find my phone waging war on my communication abilities once again. It is on... but now has no sound function so it is now utterly worthless to me. I cannot see anything, nor can i hear anything. I am going to go to the verizon store today and see if they will let me do the new contract a month early so that I can talk to people... another thought is to go to circuit city (if they have on out here) and get a new one for 30 days ... then return it... then get another new one... and return it when I can sign a new contract with verizon. At any rate, I'll keep you up onthe progress. Love you guys!

MAN DOWN ! ! ! !

so my cell phone has been freaking out a bit as of recent... freezing and not accepting calls... not dialing calls... etc... you know, the norm. Well its most recent addition to the failures is illustrated here in the picture. looks regular right... well, the phone is on and should be displaying something, anything... but no. It has decided to black out its own screen rendering me unable to send or receive text or picture messages so please dont bother. I am holding out until August when I have a chance to get the contract bonus on a new phone so it doesn't cost rediculous amounts. You can still call me and the ringer DOES WORK!!! (yes...BONUS!!!) so... give me a ring anytime. Love you guys so so so so much! Thanks again for the poster pics kristen and matt. They are precious to me.

The carnival has arrived!

Boy! I wish you all were here to enjoy this season in Clear Lake! It's just beautiful and hopping with activity and anticipation. Dad and I will be going to the parade with Grandma and Grandpa - hanging out at the same house we did when we came together. We've invited the extended family over for a post-parade BBQ - looks like we'll have about 35! Wish it was 43!!!!!

Andrew, Jeremy, Tyler, next year maybe we can go on the Dizzy Dinosaur ride together!!! And there's this really cool slide! Guys, Dad may even spring for the games. Uncle Migs, they even have alligators!!!! You'll feel right at home!

Love you all so very much.

Perfect morning for a zip around the lake!

Maggie and I took a walk this morning thought we'd share it with you all. It is a perfect morning for the jet ski zip around the lake!

Your biggest fans.

Hey Michael (and all)...thought you might enjoy seeing the new decor in the boys room! Matt came home with these posters of their Uncle Migs today and they were so excited! They got to choose where to hang them in their room. They truly are proud fans! Love you Michael...we miss you. Good luck this weekend. When do you play?

Mormon Resource

Hey guys,

I just finished writing up a summary of basic Mormon beliefs as a resource for high school students, staff and parents on my other blog. I just thought I'd mention it, you can check it out if you'd like.

All the babies.

So I got together this morning with Kim and Sarah and all the kiddos and we got a pic of the three babies together...thought you guys might enjoy. Seems like an easy enough picture to get but imagine the reality of it with 3 moms hovering, a camera flashing and five older siblings (all 4 and under) clamering to touch their baby brother or hop in the picture. Now it seems pretty amazing to have a picture of 3 sleeping babies next to eachother...huh? Anyway, it was fun and now when the boys are all best friends they can look back and know they have always been friends! Awwww. :)

Fun with the boys.

Hey guys...hope you are all having a great day. Thought I would share some of yesterday with you! We went on a walk to Borchard park...which was fun except that Tyler got over it quickly and we still had to walk all the way home...but it was quite an adventure. Then we came home to make some pizza for dinner. Andrew and Jeremy helped sprinkle the cheese while Tyler crashed on his new favorite spot in the house...right under the air conditioner in the middle of the floor! His big brothers quickly found his spot and joined him on the ground. It was a fun day. We miss you all.

Back by popular demand!!!

Hey... I tracked down the guy who took the picture of me that is on my blog and he finally got back to me and sent me the full sized file free of charge. I have no tweaked this photo and made it with black or white backgrounds/frames. You can print it out from this size with much better quality than the little one from earlier. I sure miss you guys. I can print them and have them sent to a store near you if that is easier for you (meg, mom, or pops). Love you all!!!

Just a few more

Celebrating family

Kristen, thank you so much for posting the sweet pics of your family! Tyler is looking more alert by the day!! And what wonderful big brothers he has. It's so good to see everyone!

In the spirit of celebrating life together I thought I'd post a medly of pics for you all to enjoy. Then You, Lord, for the family You've given us! How very good You are.

i love you all. : )

Andrew and Jeremy have been growing as brothers over the past couple of months. It has been exciting for me as a dad to see them enjoy each other. I don't know how rough the road for their relationship will get, but I love knowing that they have Michael and Don and Joe and I as examples of how much fun it can be to be brothers. I am curious and excited to see how they bring Tyler into the mix in the next few years.

I am working on possibly taking Andrew camping some time this summer. I think he would have a blast with it and I am debating taking both of them (maybe we'll start with a backyard tent camp). What are some of the things that you guys did as kids that you still remember? I'd love to start being intentional about giving these guys some fun things to remember.

The San Diego Girls
Okay, So I am going to do my best to try and put on pictures this time so I hope that it works. Thanks for the Picasa tip Matt...I am going to give it a try! I am really enjoying this so far and I love seeing all of your pictures, everyone. Colleen Clear Lake is so beautiful this time of year and I wish that I could be on that walk with you, it looked so nice and peaceful. I could definitley do for a little more peacefullness in my life or just time to stop and breath deep. I am looking forward to the break in between my current student teaching and my last student teaching. Although this summer semester has been crazy, God is so good to remind me of the reasons why I decided to do all of this in the first place. He reminds me daily through the students in my class that they are the reason why I want to teach. I love these kids and I looke forward to being in class with them. They are such a joy to be around! This gets me excited again to have my own class. I am so lucky to have such wonderful family and friends as my support system. The Lord continually uses the smallest conversations and gestures from people to renew my strength, love and ambition for this career that he is leading me to. So thank you to all of you! Now, since I didn't get a chance to show you the pictures from my roommates wedding...I thought I could place a couple on here so you could see some memories from this wonderful weekend with some of my very best girlfriends! P.S. I promise all of my posts won't be this long but I just wanted to give you all an update! Hope you enjoy!

Love you all!
